Version Information
The Version Information section of the
Disclaimer Page displays important information about the publication date
and age of the current rule
base. For compliance purposes it is critical that the most current
version of the rule base always be used with Policy Terminator®.
A sample is shown below:
Version Information
Application: 4.03.1231 (12/31/03)
Notice Service: 4.4.2.18 (2/18/04) (524288)
Rule Base: 3.0.04.02a (2/16/2004)
Days Since Rule Base Publication: 16 days
Aging Rule Base Warning Date:05/17/2004 (@ 90 + days old)
Obsolete Rule Base Shutdown Date:06/16/2004 (@ 120 + days old)
PTP Rule Base Version: 3.0.04.02a
Store History: Yes
Time Limited Demo Version
Days Since Rule Base Publication: 55 days
Aging Rule Base Warning Date: 10/19/2005 (@ 1000 + days old)
Obsolete Rule Base Shutdown Date: 10/20/2005 (@ 1001 + days old)
Note: The first line of the Version Information section
displays the current version number followed by the rule base publication
date in parenthesis. The second line displays the version and date information
for the ODEN Notice Generation Service. The Notice Generation Service
controls the generation of notices, batch printing, import/export, and
auto updating. The third line displays the version of rules used by WebPT
to produce a compliant notice. The fourth line displays the number of
days that have past since publication. The fifth and sixth lines display
dates on which the system behavior will change because the rule base is
likely to be out of date. These dates are calculated based on the age
of the rule base. The seventh line displays the version of your WebPT
Profile file. This file contains information relevant to your company
including the NAIC list, contact information, and subscription expiration
information. This version much match the Rule Base version. The eighth
line displays rather Store History is set to yes or no.
Note: The Aging Rule Base Warning Date will typically be set to 120 days
after the publication date. If this date is reached (meaning the current
rule base is more that 120 days old) the user then receives a warning
message to proceed with caution and that they should contact the system
administrator to update the rule base.
Note: The Obsolete Rule Base Shutdown Date will typically
be set to 180 days after the publication date. If this date is reached
(meaning the current rule base is more that 180 days old) then the user
receives a message stating that access to notice generation has been disabled.
Once this point has been reached the only way to reactivate notice generation
is to install the latest update.
